Chapter 1 General principles
Article 1 Purpose
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, implications, and responsibilities of the Company and the User regarding the terms, conditions, and procedures for using the services provided by ITipple (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') and other necessary matters.
Effect of and Changes to Section 2 Terms
(1) These Terms are effective upon disclosure to you.
(2) The Company may change the Terms in the event of a change in circumstances and when there are important business reasons, and the changed Terms shall take effect in the same manner as the preceding paragraph.
Article 3 Non-Terms and Conditions
If anything not specified in these Terms is stipulated in applicable laws and regulations, it shall be governed by those regulations.
Chapter 2 Signing up and using the service
Article 1 Definition of Member
A Member is a general individual recognized by the Company as suitable for membership, who agrees to these Terms and Conditions, completes the membership form of the Service, and is issued an 'ID' and 'PW'.
Article 2 Establishment of Service Subscription
(1) Service subscription is established by the Company's acceptance of the user's application for use and the user's agreement to the terms and conditions.
(2) If you wish to become a member and use the Service, you must provide us with the personally identifiable information we request.
(3) If we approve your application for membership, we will notify you of your member ID and other information deemed necessary by us.
(4) The ID entered when signing up cannot be changed, and only one ID is issued to each person.
(5) The Company shall not accept any subscription application that falls under any of the following items.
a. If you applied using someone else's name
B. You didn't apply under your real name
C. You misrepresented the contents of the application form.
D. When the application is made for the purpose of interfering with the well-being and order of society or public morals and customs.
Section 3 Use and Limitation of Services
(1) The Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, unless there are special business or technical difficulties of the Company.
(2) The service usage time of the preceding paragraph may be limited after prior notice to the member if necessary, such as for regular maintenance of the system.
(3) Online consultation may not be available 24 hours a day, depending on the personal circumstances of the person in charge of answering.
Section 4 Fees for the Services
(1) The Service is free to use for all registered members.
(2) If the Company charges for the Service, the timing, policy, and cost of the charge shall be disclosed on the Service prior to the implementation of the charge.
Chapter 3 Leaving, Rejoining, and Restricting Use of the Service
Article 1 Withdrawal from the Service
(1) If the Member wishes to withdraw from the Service, the Member must request the Operator to terminate the Service via e-mail.
(2) If you provide us with your name, social security number, ID, phone number, and reason for canceling your membership, we will check whether it matches your membership record and cancel your membership.
(3) You're terminated if you can't sign in with your existing ID and password.
Article 2 Rejoining the Service
(1) If a user who has withdrawn from the Service pursuant to Article 1 wishes to rejoin the Service, the user may request to rejoin the Service by sending an e-mail to the Operator directly.
(2) When you request to rejoin, provide your name, social security number, ID, and phone number so that we can identify you and process your rejoin.
(3) If you're signed in with your existing ID and password, you've successfully rejoined.
Article 3 Restrictions on Use of the Service
The Company may terminate the use agreement without prior notice or suspend the use of the Service for a specified period of time if the Member engages in any of the following acts.
A. Against public order and morals
B. Involves criminal activity
c. You plan or execute the use of the Service for the purpose of undermining national or social public interest.
d. You've stolen someone else's ID and password
g. Defamatory or disadvantageous to others
A. If the same user has dual registration with different IDs, the
c. Interferes with the healthy use of the Service, such as causing harm to the Service.
A. In case of violation of other relevant laws or the terms of use set by the Company
Chapter 4 Limitation of Liability for the Services
Article 1 Online Consultation
(1) We try our best to maintain security so that the consultation contents of members or users of the Service are not leaked to third parties other than the consulting doctor and the service administrator. However, we are not responsible for the disclosure or loss of consultation contents in the following cases.
A. If the user's password is inadvertently leaked and the contents of the consultation are disclosed
b. The user deleted the consultation using the 'Delete' feature.
C. If the contents of the consultation are disclosed or lost due to natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the control of the Company.
(2) In order to provide a comprehensive and appropriate response to the consultation requested by the member, the representative may refer to the consultation content and response.
(3) The contents of consultations conducted on the Service may be used for the following purposes after deleting personally identifiable information.
A. Academic Activities
B. Authoring activities such as print, CD-ROM, etc.
D. Part of the service content, such as FAQ, recommendation counseling, etc.
(4) The answers to the consultation are subjective based on the knowledge of each representative and do not represent our service opinions.
(5) We may not provide all or part of the online consultation in the following cases.
A. If you are applying for the same consultation repeatedly
B. You request a consultation using language that defies common sense.
Section 2 Information Services
(1) The content provided on the Service is sketchy and general in nature and is provided for informational purposes only. The information or advice provided on the Services is not a substitute for medical diagnosis. The information or advice provided on the Services is not intended to be a substitute for medical diagnosis, care or treatment. If you have any questions or concerns about your health, you should seek the advice of an actual medical professional. Under no circumstances should you disregard the advice of a medical professional or delay seeking diagnosis, care or treatment because of the information provided on the Services.
(2) We do not recommend any specific tests, products, or treatments mentioned in the Services. The opinions expressed in the Services are those of the respective physicians. We are not responsible for the content of any documents or consultations provided in the Services.
(3) Your acceptance of information on the Service, opinions of practitioners participating in the Service, or other members or visitors using the Service is at your sole discretion, and we shall not be liable for any damages, injury, or other adverse consequences resulting from the use of any products, information, ideas, or instructions provided to you.
Chapter 5 Obligations
Article 1 Company Obligations
(1) We will make the Services available to Members unless there are special circumstances.
(2) We are obligated to provide the Services continuously and reliably as set forth in these Terms.
(3) The Company shall handle opinions raised by members through the prescribed procedures through appropriate procedures, and if the processing takes a certain period of time, the Company shall inform the member of the reason and the processing schedule.
Article 2 Member Information Security Obligations
(1) You are responsible for maintaining all control over your ID and password.
(2) Member agrees to receive emails from the Service that are sent as part of the Service.
(3) If your ID has been used fraudulently, you must notify us.
(4) We do not sell or provide personally identifiable information to unaffiliated third parties without the prior permission of the member or user; however, we may utilize voluntarily provided registered information to
a. Provide developers with information needed to develop new features, information, and services that are useful to our members
b. Provide advertisers with statistical (but never individually identifiable) information about Service members and user groups.
c. To be used by the Company to conduct advertisements or services in accordance with member and user preferences
(5) You may voluntarily disclose personally identifiable information (such as your username, ID, e-mail address, etc.) in communication areas such as message boards ("Communication Areas"). In such cases, the information you disclose may be collected, associated with, and used by third parties, and you may receive unsolicited messages from third parties. Such actions by third parties are beyond our control; therefore, we make no guarantees against the possible discovery of your information by means beyond our control.
(6) We may use cookie technology to facilitate your use of the Service. Cookies are small text files used by websites to help them recognize returning users and provide them with continued access and personalized services. In general, cookies work by giving you a unique number that has no meaning outside of the site that granted the cookie. Cookies do not get inside your system and do not pose a risk to your files. We cannot prevent advertisers or related third parties on the Services from using cookies. If you or your users do not want information collected using cookies, you can control whether or not your web browser accepts cookies. However, the use of cookies may be necessary for the Services (particularly personalized information) to function properly.
(7) The Company may provide/utilize your information to each other for services or between the Company and its business partners.
Chapter 6 Dispute Resolution
(1) Disputes concerning all matters related to the use of the Service arising except as provided in these Terms of Use shall be resolved by mutual agreement as much as possible.
(2) If a lawsuit is filed for a dispute arising from the use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company shall be the competent court.
These terms are effective January 1, 2024.
