Using Gamma AI: Getting started

To learn how to use Gamma AI, you'll first need to create a Gamma AI Homepagefor more information. It's easy to sign up with your Google account, and once you're signed in, you'll be able to dive right into the amazing world of Gamma AI.

Create a project and enter a topic

Once you're logged in, you can now run the New projectsIt's time to create your own AI. Start by hitting the 'New AI' - 'Create' button, and most importantly, make sure to include the Enter a topic. Gamma AI will automatically organize your slides based on the topic you enter, so it's a good idea to be precise and specific.

For example, instead of "digital marketing strategy," write something specific like "digital marketing trends for 2024 and how to capitalize on them."

Adjust slide settings

Gamma AI's 'Paste as text' is a great feature for those who want to easily create a PPT based on material or notes already written. If you have a draft report, outline, blog post, or other content ready to go, simply copy and paste it into Gamma AI and the AI will automatically summarize the content, organize your slides, and get you done much faster.

How to use Paste as Text

1. Select Paste text: This time, on the initial screen of the Gamma AI, select the "Paste as Text" button instead of "Generate".

2. Copy and paste materialCopy and paste your existing text into the field. For example, if you have product descriptions or seminar notes, you can simply copy and paste them into the field. Here, I've done this with the first half of this post.

3. Analyze content and create slidesGamma AI analyzes the main points of your text and automatically creates slides for you. The number of slides and their content can vary depending on the amount of text you enter and the topic, so you can modify them as needed. In the free version, the maximum number of slides is 10. Whether you have 2 or 10, the number of credits used is the same, 40. I'll try setting it to 2. (If you have less content and request to create 10 slides, it will automatically add more content and create a PPT table of contents).

In the picture above, you can see the credits at the bottom. It costs 40 credits per run, and once they're gone, you'll need to pay to convert. (However, you can still use it for free by creating a Google sub-account for your in-laws.) Of course, if you feel the need to use it in earnest, it seems to be an app that you can use for a fee. If you press the Continue button, the theme selection step appears, and if you press the Create button, the PPT is automatically created.

Finalize and apply the theme
