Free e-book Charlotte Bookshop - 3 books/month, 14 days, available for ereaders
Today we'll be using Previous PostAs introduced in the Tips for viewing e-books for freeLet's talk about what it is: the Charlotte Bookstorewhich is also available for ereaders.
This is a service provided by Lotte Department Store for members who have signed up for the app. Monthlyto a whopping Volume 3(Thank you, Lotte~ I don't know what else to say, but kudos to Charlotte Bookstore~) Ebooks Volume 1to two weeks (14 days) for the duration of the loan.
Install the Lotte Department Store app
First, Google Play Storeon your computer. We all know this part, right? (Wait... what about the iPhone? I'm going to buy an iPhone and come back to you later - help me out ^.ㅜ)
Then search for the app by typing Lotte Department Store in the search bar, and tap the Install button to install the app on your smartphone.
Once you're done installing the app, tap Open App, and from here you'll start to see some dirty stuff, like the picture below. Select the point of interest, and tap Confirm Authorization, 'Skip', 'I'll do it another time' You've shown a lot of touch dexterity.
Without realizing it, I get distracted by the app's demands for my interests, notifications, marital status, and more. It's blocking our path for a while, but I don't mind. Of course, it's collecting information to provide specialized services, so it's okay to share your personal information with Lotte Department Store. (Of course, I'm already a prisoner of Lotteon.)
Become a member
If you've managed to avoid cooking, you've finally reached the initial screen of the Lotte Department Store app. In the lower right corner of the app, click the magnifying glass-shaped 'More'and you'll finally see the 'Charlotte Bookstore'appears.
The moment you finally get to the Charlotte bookstore high point and realize, ahhh, what is this? A login barrier appears! Kakao or Naver Simple Loginto get started. If you have an existing membership, you'll also need to go through the Create a Unified Member process (nothing is free~).
Borrow an ebook
If you think you've arrived, you're not! You'll need to agree to provide your personal information before you can sit down in a real Charlotte bookstore. Select a book you'd like to view through our recommendations or search, tap it, and you'll be taken to the far right of the picture below. 'Loan'on the server.
As you may have noticed, under the phrase "unified search," you can click the 3Line menu or Hamburger menuyou'll see your books grouped in a list divided into categories, as shown in the image below. Then, tap "MY" in the bottom right corner, and you'll see the Borrowed/Reserved/Steamed ListsYou'll be able to hear it.
Install the Kyobo eLibrary app - available for ereaders
Now that you've 'borrowed' the book you want, you'll be able to view the book, right? (Let's just say, it's Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do.) To view the book, you'll need to open the e-library app that provides e-book services. Of course, if you've already installed it, the e-book will be automatically linked and opened.
View books on the bookshelf
When you're done installing the Kobo eLibrary app, go back to Charlotte Bookstore and tap Borrow, 'Show next', 'Show now', 'Show down' The descriptions for each are shown above.
If you touch the "See Next" view, you'll have the book on your bookshelf for now. Free for up to 3 booksBut you can put all 3 books in and take out one book after the other. If you go to the bookshelf with your checkout list, you can see the books you downloaded, and you can touch the book, and now you can actually read the whole book (not e-books, e-books, you guys, it's so hard).
Tips for eLibrary apps
I'm going to show you something funny here~ What is it? If you use the screen capture function on the smartphone itself, it says that you can't capture the ebook. 'Security policy does not allow us to capture it.' (Who are you, anyway? Who are you living on my phone without my permission? Who are you?)
However, when I touch the screen once and tap the circle in the bottom right corner (which holds a picture), I get a screen capture, but then I get the scary story below, and when I tap 'OK', it says 'The captured image has been saved to the Screenshot folder'.

How did you enjoy today's post? If you did, please 'like' and 'subscribe' (I've been practicing because I have a dream to go from blogger to YouTuber someday~) "Okay friends, check out this blog post on secondlife.lol, install the Lotte Department Store app, and get a free e-book from Charlotte Bookstore~" You know the drill.
To give you a tip, if you use Charlotte Bookstore, everyone will have a trick, but if the whole family comes out to rent e-books, you don't need to pay for e-book services. Of course, if you are bothered by this, you can buy a one-year subscription (60-70 thousand won) like 'Millie's Library'. Initially, you aim for 100 books a month, but in reality, it's 1 book a month... (The source of Millie's Library's revenue model is said to be 'human laziness').
