Coding with AI - Getting familiar
Artificial intelligence, task automation, coding with chatgpt... There are a lot of things you hear here and there, so you want to give coding a try, but you don't know where to start.
I did, too, and I'm sure you're not the only one reading this, but in hindsight, I realized that coding with the "Duck!down!do!not!creep!is really important.
Get used to it! Isn't this something that anyone can do well? To help you do that, we've created a Everyone is comfortable enough to code using AI toolsIt can get dark. So, let me preface this with a coding story of mine that I hated to tell.
C language in school
If you're an engineering student, you've probably been exposed to C in college (and if you're not, you've probably been exposed to the Life2.0: IT Playgroundand I have no problem playing with it). But if this is It's not for me at all, so I've been using(read: because I like to talk and play better!), but it didn't make it fun or interesting.
So I finished the course with a C grade, which is what everyone gets. C language is a C grade after all! (Wow~ I come to study IT and listen to all the gags of ahjae, no, haljae~ -.-;;)
Thinking about equipping a professional with a special weapon
I graduated with flying colors, started my first job, and then realized I was traveling a lot. Resignationwhich, in hindsight, was pretty fearless, because I was single.
In my defense, I didn't quit my first job, but I did spend 10 minutes in the bathroom studying for my Information Processor certification in preparation for moving on to a more stable job (which is nothing now, but it worked once upon a time... how old are you?).
Out of desperation, the toilet-seat-studying rookie managed to get his certification in three months, but it wasn't enough. Looking back on it now, I think this was the starting point for me to start coding again.
I spent 10 months after leaving my job, skipping holidays and going back and forth to the library to prepare for my job search. I was very, very fortunate to land a job at the company I wanted. (..7 years omitted...) In my new job, I realized that I needed a weapon of my own, and I wondered what to do.
At that moment, I just realized that ChatGPTcame out and started traveling the world. I was so eager to try anything new that I started playing with ChatGPT3.5 like everyone else.(AI Play) started.
Before you start playing AI, learn R, a language specialized in statistical analysis (Play R), I was shoveling snow. I was shoveling snow and thinking about developing my own weapon in the field of data visualization. I've probably read 30-40 books in the 2-3 years I've been playing around with R (but it's volatile).
I was having a lot of problems playing R, but ChatGPT helped me out. I experienced a new world when I realized that it was solved by playing AI.
I don't have to pay my own money to go to a school, I don't have to take a professional paid training course, and I have an online teacher for free!!! I was playing well with two games, but ChatGPT started charging when it released version 4.0.
AI Tutors (WRTN, BARD, COPILOT, ALAN)
Should we jump on the monetization train to drive better play outcomes? WRTN (Luton)a service called Luton. Luton is a South Korean company that utilizes ChatGPT4.0 to create a Free serviceto start a new project.
(As a side note, Luton Technology is a publicly traded venture capital firm with a local presence. Capstone Partnersis investing in (Related articles) If you're interested in investing in HOXY, take note. I'll do a post on Luton in the near future).
Just when I was wondering why I need to burn my money on AI, Luton appeared like a 'rain in a drought'. Both ChatGPT 3.5 and 4.0 can be used in Luton, but there is a difference in speed between the latter and the former, which is frustrating.
However, I'm happy that I can use ChatGPT4.0 for free for now. A way to overcome some of the frustration is to do some quick coding with ChatGPT3.5 while playing with AI, and then ask ChatGPT4.0 to interpret the source code and make improvements (or vice versa).
I'm having a little fun with both of these, and I've been using Google's Bard, MS Co-pilotand Alsoft's Alan and more, the choices in this area are starting to grow.
As the options of AI play expanded, I started to try R play here and there. It became fun to use AI play tools alternately while playing with R. As a result, AI play served as a booster to equip myself with a 'visualization weapon' using R.
Expand your coding without realizing it
What's even more interesting is that while I was coding in R, I naturally found myself coding in Python. Playing with AI makes it easy to turn R source code into Python source code.
Of course, at first, I didn't even know what Python was, so I just went for it. But how do you run Python source code? So naturally, I started using the VS Code(R source code is available in the RStudio).
What else could I do but create a Django.
Wrapping Up - The Octopus Foot
Earlier, I talked about how I turned away from coding, how I got back into it, and how I started with R, and then with large-scale language generative models (LLM), Python, VS Code, RStudioand Django have been mentioned in passing.
Isn't there a spark of excitement and fun bubbling up inside you as you read this post, like, "I'm going to try something like that" or is that not the case at all (no - so how do I get started - why is my tongue so long?)?
Forward WRTN, ChatGPT, and other posts on how A.I. can help us at work and in our daily livesin the future, so stay tuned and support this blog as it makes its way through the internet jungle!!!
