WordPress AdSense Only? (feat. Lasso Lite plugin)
If you use WordPress to run a monetized website or blog, or are planning to do so, here's a plugin you should know about. It's an affiliate advertising plugin, which is another tool I use to monetize beyond WordPress AdSense.
Lasso Lite (Simple URLs) is a WordPress affiliate link box insertion plugin that allows you to use affiliate ads such as Coupang Partners in the form of links.in the body of the post. Enter the options (product name, permalink, affiliate link, button text, price, etc.) and insert the shortcode into the body to create an affiliate link box in your post. With a little knowledge, anyone can add affiliate links to their posts.

Creating affiliate links after WordPress AdSense approval
There are many people who have applied for AdSense approval at least once, and many people who have applied for AdSense approval more than 10 times, and have had a hard time passing it. That's where the word AdSense notice comes from. For reference, here's a post by Waffle Isaacs that helped me pass the notice.
Sorry, I digress. If you've been approved for AdSense with WordPress, affiliate advertising is the flower of monetized blogs. In this post, we're going to cover the flower.
Installing the Lasso Lite plugin
After logging into WordPress, go to 'Plugins - Add Plugin' and enter 1️⃣ in the 'Plugin search box'. simple urlsand press enter to search for it. If you don't see the plugin we want at the top of the search results, scroll all the way down and you'll see it. Click 2️⃣ 'Install Now' to install the plugin and 3️⃣ 'Activate' to make the plugin ready to use.
Using Lasso Lite
Tap the notification panel to reload the screen, and you should see the newly installed plugin in the left menu with a cactus, as shown below. Click on 4️⃣ Lasso Lite and select 5️⃣ Swith to new UI(This is important for first-time users.) This will bring up the Dashboard, where you can click 6️⃣ Add a Link and paste your affiliate link, such as Coupas, into the 7️⃣ text box and click 8️⃣ Add Link.
Enter your affiliate link details
Enter your own text in the Name, Permalink, and other options (underlined in orange) as shown in the following image. And download the product photo separately and upload the image by clicking 9️⃣. Click 🔟 to save the affiliate link information.
Even if an option is enabled, such as Price, it won't show up unless you enter an amount. For a little more detail on each option, click "Learn About This Page" next to #10 to view the page.
Inserting an affiliate link box
In the upper-right corner, click the copy shortcodeThis will copy the code so that you can display the affiliate link in the body of your post. (It will save to the clipboard, so you won't see it right away.) On the Create Post Body screen, paste that code in the paragraph section where you enter text. You should then see it appear in the body of your post, as shown below.

Save the post you were working on and click In the new tab, select Preview (click on the notebook-like shape in the top right corner of the post edit screen between Save as Draft and Publish)and you should see an affiliate link box as shown below.

Lasso Lite design and setup
Change the design of your affiliate link box
But I don't like the color of the Learn More button, and I'd like to change the color of the text or the badge (TERE's Picks) to something I like. You can change the default settings using the image below. You can play around with the options for each one to see what you like.
I want to make it all black, so let's do that. Learn more I'm just going to change the color to black. How does it look when you compare the picture above to the picture below? You can adjust it to suit your own design. And then I'll use the Don't forget to hit the Save Changes button.

Configure dashboard screens
If you go back to the dashboard and check it out, you'll see that it shows up as 2% in the top right corner, as shown below. I can put 50 affiliate links for free, so it shows that 1 is used (2%)I mentioned 'step 5' as important when using this plugin for the first time, but when you click Switch to old UI, your dashboard will look like the 2nd picture below. Instead of "step 5" at the beginning, you'll find yourself in a much more user-friendly situation where you can intuitively hit the Add New menu and start with less of a "what do I do" mentality. Anyway, the old version of the screen also shows you how many times an affiliate link has been clicked.

About paid versions
So, you should now be able to create a WordPress affiliate link box using Lasso Lite on your own. For better features like daily earnings emails, broken link alerts, and more, wait for Black Friday and get it for less. Please see the picture below for a description of the usual pricing and features. It seems a bit pricey to pay and use in the early stages of traffic.

Show sponsored ads
Oh, and by the way, it's called the sponsored ad controversy, and it can be a bit problematic if you're showing sponsored ads and don't disclose it, right? So, if you've been paying attention to this post, you'll have noticed that one of the plugin options is the Disclosure text box and Show Disclosure. You can either use that option to show that it's a sponsored ad, or you can use the most popular method, which is to put a small disclosure below the table of contents, like this image, and you'll be fine. Good luck with your WordPress affiliate links.
